The Cine Capri Today
On June 25, 2008 Harkins Theaters opened a new, state-of-the-art Cine Capri Theater in Scottsdale, Arizona. Its design included the same famous portico columns, built from the original 1960s blueprints.
This new Cine Capri, part of the Scottsdale 101 theaters, includes a museum dedicated to the original Cine Capri. The interior, with its gold curtains, also duplicates the original theater.
Today there are five Cine Capri Theaters in four western states. Each one captures the magic of that original Cine Capri where, in the private world of a darkened auditorium, were spun the most wonderful stories of all.
